I wanted to do something creative for our friends who are expecting their baby (Brady) any day now. They are HUGE Red Sox fans and are decorating the nursery with a baseball theme. Here is my little project...
Maybe I will start painting some canvases to sell on ebay so I can have money for more fun purchases...hmmmm
In other news this week is nurses week. I love what I do and know that being a nurse is my true calling. I have the best co-workers who are heroes everyday. Here is a little poem I found that I thought I'd share...
When others need my touch;
A soothing word to speak to them,
Their hearts yearn for so much.
Give me joy and laughter,
To lift a weary soul;
Pour in me compassion,
To make the broken whole.
Give me gentle, healing hands,
For those left in my care;
A blessing to those who need me,
This is a Nurse's prayer.

I love the painted canvass! My favorite gift, by far and especially when my babies were born, were handmade gifts. And I saved ALL of them.
