I love ebay-ing!

As mentioned in my previous post, Tyler and I love ebay-ing! Sometimes I fear Tyler might try to sale me on there if I sit still long enough =). Besides our new Keurig coffee maker here are a few of my most recent ebay purchases...

A Claddagh bracelet hand-made in Ireland...

I have wanted a Claddagh ring for some time but now that I am married and have a real ring of my own a bracelet will do. I just love the story and tradition that surrounds this symbol. In Ireland this was a symbol to the world of your relationship "status". If a girl was single she would wear her ring on the right hand 4th finger with the heart facing outward revealing she was available and her "heart was open". If a girl was in a relationship she would wear the heart facing inward. When the girl got engaged she would place the ring on the left hand 4th finger with the heart facing outward. And finally when the girl was married she would turn the heart inward. Neat huh....I think so =)

A German Shepherd Patch for my scrub top...

Yes, I love my dog and I can't help it!
A David Yurman ring...

Totally a guilty pleasure of mine! I have coveted (ok maybe that's too strong of a word!) David Yurman jewelry for several years and finally worked a few extra shifts to buy one of my own. I love it and am not ashamed of my big selfish purchase =)

Last but not least 2 German Shepherd watercolor portraits by Ron Krajewski...

I told you I love my Big hairy (and sometimes destructive) Dog!

I could easily become addicted! There seems to be an endless amount of possibilities and SUCH good deals! **sigh**

I've never heard the entire Claddagh tradition. So interesting. And if you aren't an Irish girl, you certainly could pass as one!

I LOVE your Yurman. Gorgeous. Every girl needs a cocktail ring to wear when going out (or everyday!).

And Doc must be so flattered to see himself everywhere! ;-)
