Busy week

Our house is a little busier than usual this week! Tyler's parents are coming on Friday for a long weekend and we are so excited! This is their first time to visit since we moved this summer. I have been busy getting things ready for this special visit.VCOM is having a white coat ceremony for all of the first years on Saturday. This will be a special day for Tyler and all of his classmates and we are glad his parents will be able to be here! I have to work tonight plus the next 2 so I have been trying to get a few things ready for their visit a little early AND Tyler has "test week" again this week so he is glued to the books more than usual. Doc has been shedding for a few weeks and is making it extra challenging to have my house clean for our visitors coming Friday. Today I was able to do some cleaning but I know I will probably do it all over again on Thursday afternoon when I wake up.

We are really thankful to have good friends here in VA. As I mentioned in my last blog we went to our friends house for Thanksgiving. Amy did a WONDERFUL job on all of the food! It was so so good and all homemade =0). I did miss my grandmothers dressing but Amy's was great too! Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!

This morning I woke up and thought "Wow it's December"! I am excited that it is officially acceptable to have Christmas decor out and play Christmas music. I had my house decorated a few days early because of my work schedule but now I can plug in the lights outside too =0) I love Christmas time!
