I've been really thinking alot lately how great God is and how small I am. With every step of our move to Virginia it was very evident God had a hand in everything and clearly provided for us just as we needed. It is still so humbling to think of how it all unfolded. We continue to see how he is working everyday guiding our next step. I will be very honest. I had ALOT of anxiety when Tyler stated applying to schools so far away. I started having anxiety attacks and feeling anxious all the time. I began reading scriptures about not worrying and praying for God to help me understand he is in control. Well, he answered my prayer above and beyond because I could not feel more at home here in Virginia. I am very comforted knowing this is where God has placed us for these years and I am happy to be where he leads. These are a few songs I have stumbled upon in my cd collection lately that really show how great God is.
Great Are You (Downhere)
How I love Your works
My God, My King
How I love Your works
My God, My King
Your Name rings on the plains
Like a not so distant train
And Love and history are near In the flowers that you make
The flowers that you make
CHORUS
Because I'll never hold the picture
Of the whole horizon in my view
Because I'll never rip the night in two
It makes me wonder
Who am I, Who am I, Who am I
And great are you
How I love Your Word
My God, My King
How I love Your Word
My God, My King
Your love cuts through these pages to my heart
As you grieve our sins, right from the start
And sacrifice and paradise are in
The plans that you made, The plans that you made
Chorus (2x)
Who Am I (Casting Crowns)
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You're
Chorus:I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours
Thy Mercy (Caedmon's Call)
Thy mercy my God is the theme of my song,The joy of my heart, and the boast of my tongue.Thy free grace alone, from the first to the last,Hath won my affection and bound my soul fast.
Without Thy sweet mercy, I could not live here.Sin would reduce me to utter despair,But through Thy free goodness, my spirit's revived And He that first made me still keeps me alive.
Thy mercy is more than a match for my heart,Which wonders to feel its own hardness depart.Dissolved by Thy goodness, I fall to the ground
And weep for the praise of the mercy I've found.
(Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah)Hallelujah (Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah)
Great Father of mercies, Thy goodness I own
In the covenant love of Thy crucified Son.All praise to the Spirit, Whose whisper divine Seals mercy and pardon and righteousness mine. All praise to the Spirit, Whose whisper divine
Seals mercy and pardon and righteousness mine.
Well, Hallelujah
Hallelujah (Hallelujah)Well, Hallelujah

I'm really glad you are feeling more and more comfortable there. Its a good feeling to feel settled. And, thanks for the Hokie Bird info. I bet that was a plus in Tyler's (or at least Mr. Tucker's) mind in moving up there! :) J/k. We have been toying with the idea of taking a scenic drive sometime before I pop, so that may be a good destination. :) I'll mull it over and get back with you! :)
