Our new floor are FINALLY done and Tyler and I couldn't be happier! We chose a distressed hardwood for the living and dining room and a darker vinyl for the bathrooms and kitchen. Since the wood is distressed it doesn't show scratches from the big dog-child and the darker vinyl doesn't show any dirt. We love them! The guys finished on Thursday afternoon and then it was my turn to clean, clean, clean and get things back in order. Here are a few pictures (they don't do them justice though!)

Since the water damaged the wood floors we were able to redo the floors all the way through the living room...bonus!
Since we were already redoing floors, we opted to spend a little extra and do the kitchen and upstairs bathroom so everything would match...

Our floors are original (1939) so they are well overdue!! :)
Stephanie...I actually dont know the name of them (sad, I know!). They are just distressed wood floors. Most flooring places have some version of them I'm sure! We love them so much we will probably put them in our next house!
